Bryan College is proud to announce that our campus president, Adriana Costenaro, is being recognized for her contributions to career education in Canada with King Charles III’s Coronation Medal.
The medal honours those who have made a significant contribution to Canada or a particular province, territory, region, or community. The medal was created to mark the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III, which took place on May 6, 2023, and is the first Canadian commemoration medal to mark a coronation.
“I am honoured and humbled by this award. I have had the privilege of working with like-minded individuals who prioritize not only student success but community outreach as well. We have the unique opportunity to work with students who may have faced adversity, come from marginalized communities, or are newcomers trying to carve out a better life for themselves and their families," Adriana said. "We have developed partnerships with persons living with disabilities which provides free access to services to those who might not otherwise be able to access them. It is with the support of this incredible Bryan College team that great things happen. I hope this recognition serves as a reminder that we should always look for opportunities to give back.”
Adriana has been the president of Bryan College for nearly 14 years, leading the college with a commitment to excellence and preparing students with the experience and skills to thrive in the health and wellness industry. Her leadership has played a vital role in shaping the success of Bryan College graduates and faculty.
Adriana will be presented with her award in March.
