By participating in this workshop, you’ll gain the hands-on experience and knowledge to safely and effectively integrate taping into your practice today! Upon completion of the workshop, you'll receive a certificate of completion that includes the hours of the course, which can be used towards continuing education units (CEUs) for some professions.

Overview & Benefits of Taping

In Bryan College’s Taping Workshop, you’ll be led by an experienced Registered Physiotherapist to learn about the fundamentals of sports taping. This course is designed for healthcare professionals with little to no prior experience in taping, as you will learn both the theoretical foundation and practical skills needed to confidently apply sports tape in your practice.

In this small-group setting, you’ll be able to hone your skills, ask individualized questions, and receive personal guidance. This workshop is designed to empower you with the skills that will immediately enhance your practice.

Specialized Skills to Elevate Your Healthcare Practice

As a Bryan College student, you gain specialized skills such as:

• Hands-on practice: work with other students to conduct taping treatments using premium taping equipment.
• Master techniques taught using various tapes.
• Become versed in the essential principles of sports taping including its benefits, proper application, and when to use it effectively.
• Learn targeted treatments for key areas such as the ankle, foot, wrist, elbow, and thumb.

Train with Industry Level Equipment

Each student will receive a taping kit that you will keep upon completion of the course. General supplies such as adhesive pre-tape spray, skin prep wipes, and heel and lace pads will be provided in class. Your taping kit includes: 

• Four rolls of athletic tape
• Three rolls of elastic athletic tape
• Two rolls of Victory tape
• Two rolls of pre-wrap foam
• One pair of bandage shears

Program Class Dates

The Taping Workshop* runs on participating Sundays at our campus located at 1200 Lawrence Avenue West, North York, ON M6A 1E3. Classes are from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM each day. There are no current course dates available. Please check back soon.

Taping Workshop Tuition

The total Taping Workshop cost is $200 including tax, which includes a taping kit that you get to keep.  All other materials such as heel and lace pads, pre-tape spray, and skin prep wipes are provided for the four hour course.
